Moeko Kurihara

After majoring in Portuguese at Sophia University, Moeko joined Mizuho Securities, where she reviewed equity and debt offerings in the Underwriting Department. She then moved to the M&A Advisory Department, advising on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. Later, in corporate coverage, she advised clients, primarily in the chemicals industry, on a wide range of capital strategies, including financing and M&A. She qualified as a U.S. CPA while on parental leave. She joined Coral Capital in October 2026, where she is responsible for fund operations.

Moeko has lived in South Korea, Japan, the United States, and Brazil.

Moeko loves the mountains, the ocean, and yoga. Her family’s goal is to climb all of Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains.
